In developing countries, a small donation can go a long way towards helping a child. At Global Village Foundation, we are dedicated to using the generous funding provided by our donors in the most efficient manner possible. Any contribution amount is deeply appreciated.
Global Village Foundation asks for your help with our Mobile Library Project during your visit to Vietnam. With your donation, you can help children from areas all over Vietnam who lack the educational materials that standard schools provide. As a gift from you to the children, you also have the option of delivering your box in person by visiting the school and the children who will benefit from your generosity. The highest donation inscribes your company or family name on these beautiful Mobile Library cases.
WHY BOOKS?
It is universally agreed that education is the most effective tool in combating poverty. Books are the cornerstone of education. Without them there is no way for children to dream or learn about avenues for change.
THE BOXES:
Each Mobile Library Box contains 200-250 books in both Vietnamese and English and are appropriate for the age level of the students. The library boxes are then circulated among area villages schools providing books to thousands of children who have limited access to basic educational supplies and materials.
DONATION OPTIONS:
If you would like to donate and visit the school during your visit please let us know and we will make all the necessary arrangements.
$500.00: Sponsor one mobile library case with your name or company’s name
$300.00: Sponsor 250 or more children’s books for all levels
$200.00: Sponsor one mobile library case to stock 250 books
$100.00: Sponsor one ton of rice for emergency relief for villages
$50.00: Sponsor the necessary school materials for one poor student
$25.00: Sponsor 2 school uniform sets for one poor student
