Mobile Library Project

The concept of the Mobile Library Project and Reading Animation Workshops is simple: to bring books and much needed educational supplies to areas in Vietnam where children have no access to learning tools. It is a gold mine for children around the world who yearn to learn to read, write and become storytellers. For teachers and parents, it is a pathway to knowledge for their children that ultimately can be passed on to future generations. Today, there are over 86 million people living in Vietnam with two-thirds of the population being young and in need of a good, solid education, not only in Vietnamese but also in other vital languages such as English and Japanese, to allow them to be part of developing their country in full equality with other nations. Rural Infrastructure Development Project

Dental Health and Education Project
Inspired by the vision of Dr. Ralph Duffin of Oregon, who traveled to Vietnam with a team of dentists and other para-professionals in 2006 to provide emergency dental care to the children of Ky La village, the Dental Health and Education Project (DHEP) works with dentists, doctors, nurses, and medical corporations to provide professional dental and medical services and equipment to the rural communities of Quang Nam Province. More recently in 2007 and 2008, we have worked with our partners at The Rotary Club of Osaka, The Rotary Club of Taipei, Dr. Hiramoto and The Rotary Club of Hiroshima, and Mr. Masashi Hiraishi and his Rotary Club members. As Dr. Duffin once said, “If the boat is sinking, it does no good to try to bail the water. One must fix the boat.” Learn More…
